Develop and lead the implementation of the process improvement projects within Cummins Bridgeway. Work plan will include interacting with various departments and branch leaders using continuous improvement methodologies to refine, improve and reduce defects in processes, improve internal and external customer satisfaction and decrease costs. Focus will be on breaking down existing processes while collaborating with cross functional project teams to implement agreed upon best practices within the organization
Responsibilities:
Become Six Sigma trained; launch and successfully complete continuous improvement projects.
Follow Six Sigma / Lean methodology toward improvement of processes.
Complete a minimum of 3 Lean / Six Sigma projects per year
Manage both strategic and tactical projects across multiple branches, involving other business segment leaders, as well as branch leadership teams.
Perform in depth operations analysis at the branch level as well as across the company, to identify project opportunities and provide resolution then cascade learning across all branches.
Perform post closure Six Sigma project audits; insure project improvement is sustained over time, possible adjustments and updates of the control plans may be necessary
Coach project team members as needed to insure team members understand their roles and commitments to insure project timelines are being maintained.
Identify, measure, and analyze problems within different Cummins Bridgeway business segments to address root causes and quantify the measurable impact of those problems.
Control and eliminate wasteful variables from within Cummins Bridgeways business segments that can create problems.
Document all process improvements.
Create all SOP documents related to any project that is led and be able to deliver all documentation that allows process owners with a turnkey solution for maintaining the improved process.
Provide project team members training on continuous improvement tools and their purpose.
Assist managers in developing quantifiable measures and results that create accountability.
Participate on customer focused continuous improvement projects that enhance our customer experience and create value.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education/: Experience
Bachelors degree.
Green to Black belt Certificate in Lean Six Sigma.
Minimum five years of process improvement experience.
Knowledge of Six Sigma / Lean philosophy.
Service or Dealer experience, a plus.
Experience with Microsoft Office, (specifically, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Access), and Minitab.
Knowledge of Value Stream Mapping.
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self starter, highly motivated, results driven, requiring minimal direct supervision
Works well in team environment.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated project management skills, must be highly organized and detail oriented.
Strong multitasking capabilities, must be able to manage multiple projects running simultaneously.
Provide analytical support on cost savings.
Ability to travel to other Cummins Bridgeway locations, Cummins locations and also to customer sites.
Travel Required (%):
Frequent intra-territory travel, up to 20% overnight.
Work Environment: There are no extraordinary conditions that are associated with the essential elements of the job.

>Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
