Webasto is seeking highly motivated candidates that take pride in their work and have a strong sense of attention to detail as a Quality Inspector at our brand-new manufacturing facility in New Hudson, MI.
In this role you will be responsible for performing inspections and checks on supplied parts, components, sub-assemblies and/or final products.
Additionally, it escalates any actual and potential not okay findings according to the defined escalation procedures.
We have openings on our Night Shift B Crew! Compensation $18.
75 per hour (+shift differential for B Crew) $1.
00 per hour shift differential for B Crew What you will do - Essential Responsibilities Performing checks and inspection of parts, components, sub-assemblies and/or final products according to the provided work instructions, if necessary, in collaboration with production teams Organizing and performing internal sorting activities of supplied components, finished goods, sub-assemblies and/or finished goods Escalation of potential and actual non-conformities and deviations in accordance with the defined escalation process Separation of suspect and actual n-ok parts/scrap and initiation of containment/corrective actions and internal complaint process Support root cause, warranty analyses and problem-solving activities Supporting activities with the SCM function, 3rd party organizations, production or other involved parts Support for first off/last off test in line with company process and/or for the return of inspected parts to the production line/rework station or the supplier When you will work B Crew Additional $1.

00am (+required daily OT and/or OT on Saturday, Sunday or Monday) The minimum requirements you will need Results-oriented team player, excellent attendance, high energy level and good attention to detail Must be able to work required hours Demonstrates creativity, initiative, and problem-solving skills Willingness to be cross trained on various processes, machines and products Basic knowledge of relevant Manufacturing Processes Basic knowledge of Quality related standards Our Preferred requirements At least 6 months - 1 year of quality experience within the in the last 5 years is required High school diploma or GED required Language Skills:
